My perspective is that social media is good for society and it’s positive for us, as it gives us such great benefits, and the world would be nowhere near as advanced as it is not without social media. However, I do understand the negative side, as this is a big issue in today's society. But personally, I don't suffer from any depression or self-consciousness, so I would have no reason to hate it. Social media helps me connect with friends, connect with the world around me, allow me to share and capture my special moments. However, too much of it, can become a real problem.
